Cozy in a scarf

"Cozy in a Scarf", Pencil on Paper, (10" x 8")

Did this small sketch yesterday just to break the long and unnecessary sabbatical I took from painting for about ten days. Time can pass by real quickly and then one day you suddenly realise that its been a long long time since you did what you love to do most. :)

All comments and critiques are most welcome.

Wonderful sketch, Vinayak....and I understand how time gets away and sometimes it feels like we are starting all over again. I hope everything is great with you and your family.

Hi Vinay! She is most intriguing. Her eyes, which you have done beautifully, are the focus. They are almost hypnotic. And you have done the shading on the rest of the portrait to draw the viewer's eye to hers. I think it is a magnificent sketch!

Hello Vinayak:) You did a beautiful job on this pencildrawing. Love the expression on her face. Very nice!

Thank you so much Crystal, Kathy and Renate. The eyes are indeed the focus. I hope to do a watercolour from this one and will try to capture something similar in that too.
