Seascape

Seascape I, Oil on Canvas, 24" X 36"
Its been a long time since I have posted anything on this blog. I have promised to myself I shall be more regular now :)

I did this seascape after combining several references, some my own, others from the internet. I am not used to painting canvases this size and it took me about a week to finally get it completed. I like to paint wet-in-wet and with a canvas this large it becomes quite difficult.

Please do let me know what you think of this effort.
Thank you so much for visiting. :)

Shubha on Radhanagar Beach, Andaman Islands

Shubha on Radhanagar Beach, Andaman Islands, Oil on Canvas, 12.5" X 18.5"
This painting is based on a photograph of the beautiful Radhanagar Beach, Andaman Islands I clicked during our visit four years ago. My wife, Shubha is seen here wetting her legs and taking in the fresh air :)
All comments and critiques are most welcome.

As If Nothing Has Ever Happened

As If Nothing Has Ever Happened, Oil on Canvas Panel, (10" x 12")

This painting is again based on Sense & Sensibility. This is Eleanor after she gets news of the wedding of Edward Ferrars with Lucy Steele.
