Beached Rowboat

Beached Rowboat, Watercolour on Paper, (14" x 20")
I just cant get over these boats. Who knows I might have been a fisherman or a pirate in my previous life! ;)  I have not painted a rowboat before. I loved the interesting zigzag pattern of light and shade created on the planks that are supposed to support the bottom board.
All comments and critiques are most welcome.

Vinay, it's brilliant! That sky is such a beautiful background for the boat, and the boat - WOW - so wonderfully painted! Yup, I can just visualize you and Johnny Depp swashbuckling along together. ;)

Love this VInayak. :) I really like the variation in the sky colors, and the shape of the boat is perfect too. :) And I secretly think I was a pirate in another life too. Savvy?? :)

Great dynamic angle on the boat and I love the sky with the beautiful washes.
