Another boat painting! This is based on several references. I had photos of this boat taken around midday and some other photos of the evening. I made many value sketches in black and white by moving the sun around along the horizon. I then chose the one that seemed to work best. I hope I could do justice here.

You have done MUCH more than mere justice here!!! This is a fabulous painting. You really do have a thing for boats - a good thing. You must have been a ship's captain in a previous life :)
