I did this painting from a beautiful photograph by Suresh Pethe, who is himself an amazing watercolourist. I have always wanted to do such backlit scenes but never had the courage to actually begin one. Finally I did one today.

Lovely painting Vinayak! Composition and colors are both very nice. I especially like the shadows on the floor and the sun filtering through the leaves, yet maintaining the bicycle as the focal point. Hope to see your work more often. :)
