Higham Hills Cottage

Higham Hills Cottage,
 Watercolour on Paper, (9" x 15")

Most of the novels I read have made me dream about England and the english country life. I love to surf with Google Street View and visit places I can only dream of. I cam across this view in one of these "visits" ;) I used Fabriano paper for the first time today and found it a little too absorptive for my taste.

All comments and critiques are most welcome.

Very English! A very summery scene.

I really like your painting of Gdansk - I think you've captured the colours of Europe so perfectly in this.

That is a perfect vision of an English countryside. :) Just beautiful Vinayak. And I've often wondered about Fabriano paper but never gotten around to trying it, good to know about how absorbive it is.

Thank you so much Crystal. Many people seem to like Fabriano better than most other brands. Guess it varies from person to person, which I feel is a good thing. :)
